وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (لقد هممت أن آمر بالصلاة فتقام، ثم آمر رجلاً فيصلي بالناس، ثم أنطلق في رجال معهم حزم من حطب، ثم أجيء إلى قوم لا يشهدون الصلاة فأحرق عليهم بيوتهم) رواه البخاري (657) ومسلم (651).
